Reportando el Sospecho de Abuso Infantil y Negligencia

Arizona Child Abuse Hotline
La ley de Arizona requiere que ciertas personas que sospechan que un niño ha recibido una lesión no accidental o que ha sido descuidado que reporten sus preocupaciones al Departamento de Seguridad para Niños (DCS) o la policía local (ARS §13-3620.A). USTED puede ser el único defensor de un niño en el momento de informar de la posibilidad de abuso o negligencia. Los niños muchas veces le cuentan a una persona con la que se sienten seguros acerca de abuso o negligencia.
 
Si un niño le dice de tales experiencias, actué para proteger a ese niño por teléfono al número gratuito de Arizona Child Abuse Hotline al 1-888-SOS-CHILD (1-888-767-2445).

La Línea Directa de Abuso Nacional de Niños de Childhelp® se dedica a la prevención del abuso infantil. ¿En quién confías con su hijo? En Arizona se ha visto un aumento de muertes por maltrato infantil de 51 en 2008 a 70 en 2010, que es un sorprendente incremento del 38%. Trágicamente, muchos de estos niños murieron a manos de los cuidadores inseguros. A veces los padres no planifican el futuro o ni piensan en ello. En otras ocasiones, se lanzan a confiar en alguien que es de poca confianza. Un cuidador inseguro podría ser un novio o novia, un vecino o incluso un familiar. 

Si usted es un padre que tiene preocupaciones acerca de su hijo o del cuidador de su hijo, llame a la línea ahora mismo: 1-800-4-A-CHILD (1-800-422-4435).
